You just need to create a cocktail using our mezcal, record the process and share it on social media tagging us and using the challenge hashtag. You need to fill out a form at: www.santogusano.com /videoreceta

Which Santo Gusano mezcals can I use for the challenge?

Accepted Answer

You can use any of our mezcals from the Santo Gusano line. Each variety has a unique profile that can complement different ingredients.

Question 4

Is there any prize for the winners of the challenge?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 1st place winner will be entitled to a tax-free cash prize of $5,000 USD (five thousand American dollars). There will be no consecutive winners.

What criteria will be used to select the winners?

Accepted Answer

The criteria include creativity, presentation of the cocktail, originality of the ingredients. All of this under the irrefutable criteria of our panel of experts.

Is it necessary to have previous experience in cocktail making to participate?

Accepted Answer

It is not necessary. We want both beginners and experts to have fun experimenting and creating their own cocktail with our mezcal. However, this contest is open to personnel working in the areas of tourism, mixology, bars and restaurants and related topics.

Until when can I participate in the "Mezcal Mix Masters by Santo Gusano"?

The challenge will be open until April 31, 2025. Make sure to submit your entry before then. The grand finale will take place on May 17.

Are there any age restrictions to participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants must be over 18 years old, as mezcal is an alcoholic beverage. If you are in another participating country, you must respect the minimum drinking age of that country.

Can I use other liquors besides mezcal in my cocktail?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can combine our mezcal with other ingredients or liquors, as long as the Santo Gusano mezcal is the star of the cocktail.

Is it necessary to use specific ingredients in the cocktail?

No, the idea is to be as creative as you want. You can use any ingredient that inspires you. But the Mezcal Santo Gusano should always be present.

Can I participate if I am outside of Mexico?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can participate if you are in the United States (Texas or Florida), Spain (Madrid) and throughout the Mexican Republic. In specific cases such as Spain and the United States, the minimum age for drinking alcohol in each country must be respected.
